The position involves teaching and artistic research in the fields of studio directing, live-directing, mixing, montage, VJ-collage and television design. Experimental Television creates new and experimental forms of televised expressions that establish their own formats and their own opportunities for performance beyond traditional event and broadcasting structures. This position is subject to the terms and conditions of § 50 b of the Thuringian Universities Studies Act (ThürHG). The successful candiate will be employed as a civil servant for a fixed term. The employment contract is limited to three years but may be extended for another three years after a positive performance evaluation. Bauhaus-University aims to raise the ratio of women in teaching, research and the art field and especially encourages women to submit their applications. In case of equal qualifications priority consideration will be given to candidates with disabilities.
