Artscape, in association with the Creative City Network, launches its 2006 Creative Clusters Development Program with the national Creative Community Building Workshop ? a 2-day workshop, including off-site study tours, taking place June 8 ? 9, 2006 at the Ontario College of Art & Design in Toronto.

Guaranteed to inspire. Designed to empower. Bring your ideas and take away practical tools and strategies about how players in the public, private and non-profit sectors can work to build and sustain creative communities.

Top international practitioners will set the stage for the Creative Community Building Workshop and share the tools, strategies and projects that have anchored creative communities in their cities and towns. Topics will include: Creative Asset Mapping, Place-making, Creativity-based Regeneration, Silo-busting and Creative Cluster/Multi-tenant Centre Development.
