READER: "Yes, yes, I get the picture. Move on, move on"

DIRECTOR: "Which is of course the absolute truth, as the set piece representing the gallery has no ceiling..."
AUTHOR: "At a round table set to one side..."
NARRATOR: "...VICKI sits, holding a smooth white box in her hand..."
DIRECTOR: "And the camera moves into position here, moves into position..."
READER: "We see the box quite clearly now, it appears to be some sort of switch..."
VIEWER: "The box is almost translucent, but still entirely white, exquisitely finished, a designer object..."
AUTHOR: "At this point I want the sound to come in, you know, the background noise..."
DIRECTOR: "Noise?"
AUTHOR: "You know, the noise you hear when the microphone is on, but no-one is speaking, s s.."
DIRECTOR: "Static?"
AUTHOR: "Yes and then we go to VICKI, we only see her lips, red lips, red lips, move..."
