The irregular side of nature, the discontinuous and erratic side--these have been puzzles to science, or worse, monstrosities. Yet it is human nature to want to explain this as much as possible to have control over these situations. In the work "Occupied spaces," there are a number of architectural structures shown comprising algorithmic constructions. These structures behave as intruders in their natural environment. It is like a piece of nature embedded in an ordered system mathematistisch. This meeting provides friction but also leaves a collaboration between these two extremes. Despite the contradiction between nature and culture work in a way to use the material in a kind of kinship is decided between the origin and processing, between nature and culture."
