The Center for Digital Discourse and Culture http://www.cddc.vt.edu  is 
attempting a new experiment in academic publishing and discussion at 
http://www2.cddc.vt.edu/cyber .  Using software similar to the popular 
weblog http://slashdot.org, we have put up a site intended to enable 
academic discussion on a variety of topics relating to cyberculture, 
information society, and internet research.

If you would like your links or event listed on the site, please contact 
Jeremy Hunsinger at jhuns {AT} vt.edu.  If you wish to submit news, please do 
using the sites submission feature.  the more people that we have 
participating in this site, the greater the benefit the community can 
derive from it.   This site is not intended to be a replacement for 
listserv discussions on these topics.

It should be noted that this is an entirely experimental venture at this 
point, but the more use it gets, the less experimental it will 
be.    Report all bugs on the site to jhuns {AT} vt.edu.
