[Nettime-bold] NETSTRIKE 214T against death penalty HAS BEEN WORKING SUCCESSFULLY

NETSTRIKE 214T
Against death penalty
---------------------------------
Strike!!!

NETSTRIKE 214T against death penalty HAS BEEN WORKING SUCCESSFULLY, as thousands of users all over the world have taken part in it.
Because of the continuous click of the huge amount of "visitors", was not possible to connect from Italy to the Texas State site from 18:00 PM to 19:00 PM (italian hour), and the Texas Department of Criminal Justice site has been almost completely paralyzed (a netstrike 214T story, in italian language, is available on www.netstrike.it/aggiornamenti.html).
Netstrike against death penalty will be soon repeated against another State which still enforces such a punishment.
This success is a further sign ot the clear and general refusal of death penalty all over the world: such a penalty is more and more regarded as a criminal and hideous action.

In the meantime more and more protests are coming AGAINT THE CENSORSHIP enacted by the Regione Toscana (Italy) against the artwork/netstrike proposed within an exhibition against death penalty, organized by the same Regione (to join the artwork/protest against this censorship join http://www.netstrike.it/214t/censura.htm).
