On the contrary, I can't imagine a better format for an art-interview, precisely because it's _not finished. Because it's open/public. Because it doesn't just really aim to bolster the critically-fashionable position of the acolyte-art-expert in question. Josephine, when I rant against the obstructionist Artworld it's not because I'm "shut-out..." I have no need of what it can't offer; I'm no "neo-net-artist!" If anything, I'd prefer it shut-down! Why would any (non-institutionalized) artist chose to be abused by such a pyramid ponzii ploy? The Net still offers artistic autonomy; why throw it away? Why devolve now? (Admittedly, I didn't hold-out much hope for a 'critic' who couldn't be be bothered to seriously view the work that she wanted to write about...) *sigh* The 12hr-ISBN-JPEG Project >>>> since 1994 <<<< + + + serial ftp://ftp.eskimo.com/u/b/bbrace + + + eccentric ftp://ftp.idiom.com/users/bbrace + + + continuous ftp://ftp.teleport.com/users/bbrace + + + hypermodern ftp://ftp.rdrop.com/pub/users/bbrace + + + imagery ftp://ftp.pacifier.com/pub/users/bbrace News://alt.binaries.pictures.12hr ://a.b.p.fine-art.misc Reverse Solidus: http://www.teleport.com/~bbrace/bbrace.html http://www.eskimo.com/~bbrace/bbrace.html Mirror: http://bbrace.laughingsquid.net/ { brad brace } <<<< bbrace@eskimo.com >>>> ~finger for pgp Note: all "Teleport" addresses (web/ftp/email) are being eliminated: no thanks to Earthlink scum.
