[Nettime-bold] Re: <nettime> borderhack |
I was nearly the victim of a funny borderhack once, in China. We were trying to get into Zuhai off a boat from the Perl River. One of my travelling companions ~ my father-in-law of all people ~ was mocking the very stern guards by jumping back and forth over the border line singing "in, out, in, out". Communist guards don't have much of a sense of humour, but we almost made him smirk. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Heiko Recktenwald" <uzs106@IBM.rhrz.uni-bonn.de> To: <nettime-l@bbs.thing.net> Sent: Friday, August 24, 2001 1:58 AM Subject: Re: <nettime> borderhack > The most funny borderhack I ever saw was on a Christmas eve day in the > early 80s on the border between France and Spain in the Hendaye/Irun > region, le pay basque, sorry, I dont speak the language of Bilbao, Biaritz > etc. > > A "Charleston" 2CV and two entrances, 5 meters or so away from each other, > the car driving circles, from France to Spain to France to Spain, > everybody was laughing. > > Anyway, I like borders.
