with supreme tact + sympathetic insight [WASHINGTON] NASA and Rosaviakosmos, the Russian space agency, have agreed a set of guidelines that will allow more wealthy tourists to visit the International Space Station. The two agencies quarrelled earlier this year over the visit of American businessman Dennis Tito, who was eventually allowed to spend eight days on the orbiting facility. The new guidelines detail training and other requirements for paying guests, who will travel to the station in the Russian Soyuz capsule. The Russian space agency is currently training South African Internet entrepreneur Mark Shuttleworth, who, like Tito, will pay upwards of $20 million [TIME 2 SUCK UP 4 01 SEAT] for his trip. The French and Italian space agencies also have bought seats on Soyuz for their professional astronauts. Claudie Haigneré of France is scheduled to visit the station in October. nn. poetry tells us that our souls have a shadow. at our frontiers we do not always know what may happen. that's what makes it so delicious. 01 powder-coated drop no longer sticks to surfaces, and moves by rolling, much as 01 solid sphere would. that's what makes it so delicious. catch me. that's what makes it so delicious. /_/ / \ \/ i should like to be a human plant \/ __ __/ i will shed leaves in the shade \_\ because i like stepping on bugs *--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*-- Netochka Nezvanova nezvanova@eusocial.com http://www.eusocial.com http://www.biohakc.com http://www.ggttctttat.com/! n r . 5 !!! http://steim.nl/leaves/petalz *--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*-- --*--*--*--*--*--*-- _______________________________________________ Nettime-bold mailing list Nettime-bold@nettime.org http://www.nettime.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/nettime-bold
