[Nettime-bold] Did Commerzbank hide the information from investors?

Dear Sirs,

Commerzbank had the information about the financial and legal risks that were concerned with BRE Bank (its leading enterprise in Central Europe – as was declared in the Annual Report 2001). Moreover, in accordance with the Annual Report, Central Europe is one of the main aims of the Commerzbank’s strategy.
Commerzbank received the materials about the situation of BRE Bank on 16 May 2002, 27 August 2002 and 21 October 2002. The materials are available on the site:
http://www.polandsecurities.com/commerzbank.html

Did Commerzbank give the statements to the market and BaFin about the changes of the priorities of the bank or about the legal and financial situation of its leading enterprise in Central Europe?
In May 2002, the materials concerning Commerzbank and BRE Bank were sent to three bigger stockholders of Commerzbank. Were only the chosen shareholders of Commerzbank better informed?

Yours faithfully,
George Waldron
