NairoBits is finally about to start after one year of preparation. The official beginning in Nairobi is January 31st 2000! After a whole year of preparations, from establishing contacts with African and Dutch partners, setting up a foundation, opening bank accounts and developing creative programs, the real excitement is about to begin. All computers are boxed and ready for departure. Emer Beamer, Hester Ezra and Fiona Whelan, would like to be boxed and ready for departure but they are still running around Amsterdam arranging things at the last minute. They arrive in Nairobi January 21st. This has all been made possible by all the sponsors to whom we are extremely grateful, the full list of sponsors is on the web site: http://www.nairobits.org . We hope you are as enthusiastic as we are and will be watching online as the project takes wings. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - 2 - A whole new web site The NairoBits web site has been updated!!
