So what ? Traditional view in europe, not the view of the EU bureaucracy
in Brussels etc but common view in most member countries, is that radio is
a piece of culture, not economics, and that countries are more or less
free to decide which radio they want. Maybe its different in the states.
Lauder did never "own" the radio the way he could have done it in the
states. "Licences"......maybe he did overlook some unwritten fine print.
