CNET's 'special report' on P2P

The technological movement behind today's most bitter digital music
controversies is often cast as the closest thing to online socialism since
the Internet became a mainstream medium. 

Such mundane concerns as limited infrastructure may drastically curb the
potential for this futuristic peer-to-peer society, however. Those
obstacles, in turn, could further impede another factor widely deemed
crucial to the growth of any online initiative: making money.
