This kind of thuggery is ridiculous, neither useful nor interesting nor even funny. As for Salvaggio, apparently he doesn't even care any more. In any case, I've co-moderated lists with Alan for several years now; he's always been intelligent and fair in his moderation, and his decisions have always even-handedly balanced freedom of expression against the survival of the list in question; anyone who's ever moderated a list knows that this is the only way a list can continue in a healthy way.
