RE: <nettime> Interview PLW

Isn't it about time we all stopped playing along with this silly game? Forthe
record, PETER LAMBORN WILSON IS HAKIM BEY -- the 'Prince of Liteness'.
John.

SA: That brings me to another question: We hear that Hakim Bey, with
whom you developed the concept of the TAZ in the 1980's and 90's,3 is a
little fed up with the whole idea. Secondly, in his *Millennium*, Bey
touches on the concept of a local nationalism if you will, not
nationalist in the classic sense, but it also refers back to the whole
globalization question: are you going to be anti-universalist, or is it
possible to stress one's own identity from an autonomous point of view?
I believe you also touched on this in your *Escape From the 19th
Century*.
