Well, as much as I like critic of Cage, the times have changed, much of
his work doesnt work anymore, the society isnt anymore in the 50s, I think
chance is the unpredicted, is life.

And there are incredible beautifull string quartetts from the 40s..

Hello Ryan,

I appreciate that you put a radical critique, but nevertheless dare to
disagree. Personally, I can't help but associating the links you
mention; I don't see them as forced at all. And if you read closely,
then you see that I am _not_ trying to say that www.jodi.org is _like_
Cage, Fluxus or Mail Art, but quite on the contrary in which respects it
is _different_.

Bests,

.. or it's: if jodi.org is more a-part of the art... better:
manufacturing perfect Brittany Spears cd replicas, ( actually iso9660
images of jodi.org, natch), then leaving them on public transit...
people will take them home and put them in their cd players ;-> or
the few un/fortunates that put them in their computers will encounter
a program which automagically installs jodi.org as your *My
Documents* tree structure, or adds a desktop shortcut that can't be
removed <- that's always a good one... <- not that I'm condoning this
behaviour...
