<nettime> Living With Cyberspace Published |
Dear all, on behalf of Joanne and myself, I am really pleased to announce that, at long last, our new edited book, _Living with Cyberspace: Technology & Society in the 21st Century_ has finally been published in the UK. It is being published simultaneously in Australia and will be published in the USA and Canada slightly later, just after Christmas. The book contains a nice blend of research oriented material and work that 2/3rd year undergraduates can also appreciate. As can be seen from the contents below, many of the contributors are well known in this field. So, I would be grateful if folks would spread the word about the book as far and wide as possible. I have been told by our editor at Continuum that there are review copies available but that requests really need to come from institutions rather than individuals (journals, basically). Best wishes John & Joanne ======================================= Living With Cyberspace Technology & Society in the 21st Century Edited by John Armitage & Joanne Roberts Continuum Press London 2002 CONTENTS Acknowledgements Living With Cyberspace: An Introduction to Technology & Society in the 21st Century John Armitage & Joanne Roberts PART I: CYBER SOCIETY Introduction 1.
