Dear Sir/madam
I am doing a university thesis on the effect of the internet on art and
came across your site not knowing if it would be of any use to me. Do
you have anything/opinions that may be useful?
Thank you

Hello,

I was advised to contact you by the variant.

I am a third year jornalism student and studying the radical and alternative
media for my dissertation.

This is an area that I already had a keen interest in.

I am trying to research the difference between the circulation and
distribution of the minority and the popular press both hard copy and
online.

If its not too much trouble, and you have a few spare moments, please could
you have a look through them and I’ll promote your cause when I’m a famous
journalist changing the face of the popular press forever?

Thanks very much,

Ellie Banks xxxxxxxxxxxxx

1.What kind of things do you do to promote your publication/website?

2.Are you part of a larger organisation?

3.What is your target readership is?

4.Do you believe that the stereotype that radical press appeals mainly to
the student
population is completely true? If so do you try to target them
specifically in your
   promotion campaigns?

5. Do you believe that the radical and alternative media is
under-represented in Britain
    compared to other countries?

6. Do you believe that there is a great imbalance in objectivity in
reporting due to the
limited circulation of radical and alternative media publications?

7. My research around Preston suggests that not many students get actively
involved
in radical issues compared to other universities such as Hull. Do you
have any
comments as to why this may be?

8. Do you believe that increasing public access to the Internet will
invariably lead to a
growth in the health of the radical and alternative media?

9. How many hits does your site get?

Thank you for your time.
