<nettime> Bullfighter

I read about this Deloitte Touche free tool in the San Jose Mercury
News. Wonder if it could be modified for other systems and other
jargon domains like nettime or Empire.

Bullfighter: Stripping the Bull out of Business

---- <examples>
"A value-added, leverageable global knowledge repository."

"Repurposeable, leading edge thoughtware that delivers results-driven
value."

"A future-proof asset that seamlessly empowers your mission critical
enterprise communications."
__
Bullfighter could be all of these things. Except that we have no idea
what any of these things are.

So, we call it our online conscience. Bullfighter is software that runs
in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, within Microsoft Office 2000 or XP.
It works a lot like the spelling and grammar checker in those
applications, but focuses on jargon and readability. Download it for
free, or order a CD-ROM/book package. Then install it.

Take the Bullfighter challenge for 30 days. That red and black bull
icon on your Word and PowerPoint toolbar could change your life. Unless
you believe in expressions like 'value-based paradigm shift' or in
multi-syllabic sentences that run on for ages, you owe it to your loved
ones and co-workers to try.

The documents you save could be your own.

Want to take a few practice runs before stepping into the arena with
your own documents? Click here to take The Bullfighter Challenge. It's
more fun to cringe at someone else's awful documents anyway.

Download: Still think you can help fight the bull? Download the
software here (4MB). Bullfighter runs only in Microsoft Word and
PowerPoint 2000 and XP. Once you've installed it, the accompanying book
(in Adobe Acrobat PDF format) is also installed and accessible from the
Start button in Windows 2000 and XP.
