Parade transnationale de Migrants et des Précaires contre l'Europe
sécuritaire et inégalitaire!


Depuis 1950, le Prix charlemagne est décerné Chaque année le

s'organiser et étendre leur champ d'actions.

EuroMayday Aachen 2008 vs Precaria verbo regis Transnational Parade
of Precari@s and Migrants against securitarism and inegalitarism in
Europe!


Since 1950, the Charlemagne prize is awarded every year on the
Ascension day. In 2007, militaristic Europe was celebrated by awarding
the price to Solanas, the NATO's boy. This year, the Charlemagne price
has come to a full scale propaganda event dedicated to glorify an
imperial vision of Europe.

Attribution of the price to Merkel by Sarkozy is justified by their
leading roles in the Treaty's adoption process which would like
to solve by elitism the deadend caused by the dubble "no" to the
neo- liberal Europe, to precarity for the young people and of the
persecution for the illegals of Europe. Calendar fun : this year,
Ascension day falls on May, first.

For all of us, the first of May is a celebration day, but also a
struggle day. That's the reason why for this year we join different
collectives of Rhenania to organize a Transnational Parade of Migrants
and Precari@s to protest against the Charlemagne Price's attribution
to Merkel by Sarkozy and to reclaim an egalitarian and democratic, an
open and free Europe.

We invite the migrants and precari@s of Rhenania, from the Meuse and
the Rhine valleys, from the Escault and Limburg plains, from the Grand
Duchy of Luxembourg, from the Metz and Nancy counties to join the
EuroMayday Parade in Aachen.

We see this event like an extraordinary opportunity for knowledge and
practice exchanges beyond national borders, opportunity to live Europe
as a common political space to share, where migrants and precari@s can
meet themselves, self-organize and open their field of action.

We are impatient to meet you in Berlin and we would like to add to the
points of debate the opportunity of a common action which would be the
final countdown to the EuroMayday Parades.
