Now, ah, it's dot.fear, not just fear - which reminds me of the psycho-
analytical attempts to negotiate addictions (computer addiction disorder,
gambling disorder, etc.) - all of which effaces the underlying causes in
the guise of the surface. 

The point is, that the "Net" is _not_ a medium, but as sloppy as tele-
phony or television (cable, vcr, camcorder, satellite, network, ham, etc.
etc.). And that . simply (simply) reifies / inscribes a confluence of
practices which can't help but exclude others. 

And no, I use the word "cyber" a lot, and it's not a question of dot.fear
or any other sort of fear.

It's the need to _deconstruct_ these stances in the first place.
