            Introducción teórica y práctica en la simulación por ordenador con el software de Real Flow, desarrollado por el estudio madrileño de Next Limit. Se trata de un software 3D de simulación de fluidos y dinámica de sólidos, aplicable tanto a la visualización científica como a la creación artística, publicitaria o cinematográfica. De hecho, a lo largo de los últimos años, Real Flow ha sido utilizado en la realización de algunos de los efectos especiales más impactantes en películas como El señor de los anillos III , Tomb Raider 2 , Final Fantasy o Matrix . 

            Next Limit fue fundada en 1998 por un grupo de ingenieros y artistas. Ha desarrollado un software único en el mundo para la simulación del comportamiento de fluidos, que ha sido utilizado en producciones de cine tan conocidas como Matrix , X-Men 2 , Minority Report o más recientemente El señor de los anillos III . Entre sus clientes están Pixar, Disney, Nintendo, Nasa, IBM, Seat, Volkswagen, Sony, Ford o Boeing. Ha recibido el Premio a la Exportación de la Cámara de Comercio de Madrid, el Premio al mejor producto del año de la revista Animation Magazine, el Sello de Excelencia 2002 de esta misma y el Premio a la Innovación 2001 de la revista Computer Graphics World.

            Limited number of places 
            A theoretical and practical introduction to computer simulation with Real Flow software, developed by the Madrilenian Studio Next Limit. This is 3D software for the simulation of fluids and solid dynamics, applicable to both scientific visualisation and artistic, commercial and film creation. Over the last few years years, Real Flow has been used in the production of some of the most astonishing special effects in films like Lord of the Rings III, Tomb Raider 2, final Fantasy and Matrix. 

            Next Limit 
            was founded in 1998 by a group of engineers and artists. It has developed a unique software for the simulation of the behaviour of fluids, which has been used in film productions as successful as Matrix, X-Men 2, Minority Report and, more recently, Lord of the Rings III. Among its clients are Pixar, Disney, Nintendo, NASA, IMB, Seat, Volkswagen, Sony, Ford and Boeing.
