Simuze* (www.simuze.nl) is a Dutch platform for musicians and music  
lovers; a place to store and spread music online - for free! - as a  
promotional tool. With more than 100.000 unique visitors each month  
Simuze is becoming an important place in the Netherlands for  
musicians to be heard. As an added value Simuze also organises  
concerts with the bands on the website. This time we have three  
special bands lined up for you! *

Kismet is the most fresh-sounding indierock band from Utrecht since  
2002. During the years Kismet played with bands like: the  
Weakerthans, mewithoutYou, Statistics, Elliott, Vague Angels, Favez,  
as friends rust, Face Tomorrow, Cougars and the Bronx. Be sure to

WE VS DEATH (www.wevsdeath.nl)*

We vs Death is said to be the leading instrumental post-rock band in  
the Netherlands, and was founded in 2000. Since then they put out a  
few split-cds and other releases, up to their first full-length album  
"We Too Are Concerned / We Are Too Concerned" released in 2006. We vs  
Death has played with many great bands and has been touring  
throughout Europe, Canada, Japan and Russia. Check them out!

*Formed by singer guitarists Rob Herian and Dan Frost, drummer Sam  
Roberts and bassist Ben Tat in 2005, the London based band became  
known as Elks in late 2006. The result to date is music that is  
always evolving, taking chances and refusing to sit still.

Elks have been playing live regularly since November 2006 including a  
number of UK dates from Brighton to Glasgow as well as a series of  
successful European dates in Holland, Germany & Austria at the  
beginning of 2007. The live show, like the music, always proves a  
little hard to second guess, but never fails to be explosive and  
entertaining. So, get ready for some London based rock'n roll!

SIMUZE (www.simuze.nl)*

Simuze (www.simuze.nl) is een online muziekplatform voor muzikanten  
en muziekliefhebbers in Nederland. Het doel van Simuze is om de  
essentiële behoefte van muzikanten om hun muziek te verspreiden samen  
te laten komen met de distributiemogelijkheden van het internet. Dit  
doet Simuze door de huidige maatschappelijke situatie – waarin de  
hedendaagse muziekliefhebber gewend is om muziek gratis op het  
internet te kunnen ontdekken en uitwisselen – te erkennen, omhelzen  
en stimuleren. Alle muziek op Simuze wordt daarom gepubliceerd onder  
een Creative Commons licentie, waarmee de muzikanten aangeven dat de  
muziek die zij op de website plaatsen – onder bepaalde voorwaarden  
naar keuze – gratis en legaal mag worden gekopieerd én verspreid.

Sinds de lancering van Simuze.nl – in juli 2005 – staan er meer dan  
1400 muziekstukken van ijna 400 verschillende artiesten uit zeer  
uiteenlopende genres online. Momenteel krijgt de website maandelijks  
meer dan 100.000 unieke bezoekers.
