[Nettime-ro] N5M4 Festival of Tactical Media, Amsterdam

NEXT 5 MINUTES 4, September 11 – 14, Amsterdam
http://www.n5m.org

Next 5 Minutes is a festival that brings together art,
experiments in media technology and transcultural
politics. N5M testifies to the power of art and
progressive media makers to produce media that is
essentially different from the daily violent
spectacles we are confronted with, especially on
broadcast television. Tactical media are creative and
engaged; they celebrate amateurism and provide
platforms for those voices left out elsewhere. During
one year Tactical Media Labs have been organized
around the world: in Barcelona, Berlin, Birmingham,
Chicago, Cluj, Delhi, Dubrovnik, Moscow, New York,
Nova Scotia, Portsmouth, Sao Paulo, Singapore, Sydney,
Vis and Zanzibar (documented online at
http://www.n5m4.org). The results of all the
collaborative activity of the previous year can be
experienced during the final event in Amsterdam, Sept
11-14.
