(Fragment din "Move Along, Nothing to See Here" de Rose Marie Barientos & RÄzvan Ion) Ciprian Homorodean (1982, TimiÈoara) este unul dintre cei mai importanÈi artiÈti romÃni ai generaÈiei sale. MÄrÄÈeÈti nr. 1-3, TimiÈoara FB event: www.facebook.com/events/431852616940196 "To better appreciate the artistic universe of Ciprian Homorodean, one must first abandon traditional expectations. Not necessarily of art, but certainly of social conventions. For, although he hasnât abandoned formal and aesthetic considerations, he often drifts into fields adjacent to his profession, audaciously approaching the boundaries that separate real life and art. His subjects come from personal experience and an out-of-the-box view of stereotypes. His works bring together ironic comment, social statement, and humorous bluff. He considers art to be just another language, using it to record, understand and express the beautiful, poetic incoherence of human society in everyday life. Homorodean shows that contemplation is not an action. It is expectation as an action, societal regress, individual indifference. He shows us that the transition from the contemplation of a situation, from its representation, to constructing situations must be undertaken immediately, without further delay. Conversely, we will contemplate a condemned society."
