Gni, I know the problem. Some years ago I started to train myself in
drawing cars and
bikes. I just could not stand it having a technical eye and not be able to
get beyond a 
hieroglyf level of picturizing it. (It struck me when I had an assignement
which included 
drawing a street )

To me the reason why I failed to easy sketch a good looking car or bike is
simple; I missed the training in my childhood.
Gave up at first clumsy bike/car drawings and back then nobody would say;
Girl, let me help you to draw a real car.
Nowadays my mother keeps her eye open to freebee toy cars to bring to me as
a sketch model.
