What does space mean to us now? In the year 2001- the zone of generationsof fantasy about the future- we look at art and science, the appeal they have to the imagination, and the domestic side of the space age at Dundee Contemporary Arts, Nethergate 2pm-9pm Generator Space, Mid-Wynd 9pm onwards. Artists include Louise K Wilson, Marek Brandt, Gair Dunlop, Pat Naldi, Wendy Kirkup, Hans Waanders, Mike Stubbs and Kevin Henderson, Janice Aitken , Norman Shaw, Simon Richardson, Eimer Birckbeck and many more 
40 years in space 12th April 2001
Screenings at the DCA cinema 2-6 pm. Plus Saturday night late features. Forum on new visions for science and art-7-9pm DCA conference room. Party celebration at Generator Space, Mid-Wynd- 9pm onwards. Artists work in the VRC  downstairs at DCA from 10th-18th April.
