Initially this was the news screamed also by local newspapers and radios,
but from the last friday (April 16th) the Bari and Brindisi airports are
open again, and departure and arrive flights are active during the daily
hours. They remain closed after the sunset and till the sunrise.
The <backup> airport is Grottaglie in the province of Taranto.
Beware that in Bari, in front of the civil airport there's a military one,
and one of the most strategic military airport in Italy is based in Gioia
del Colle, at 40 km (more or less) from Bari.
