Walvisnest is the new music and sound design studio in Rotterdam founded by Jornt Jan Bras and Ard Janssen. On Friday 12 October, they will officially launch with an exhibition in which the relationship between image and sound is central. The works shown consist of productions for film, museums and advertisement. Additionally they will show newly developed installations including a multi-speaker soundscape which immerses visitor in a bath of sounds.

Be welcome and get acquainted with the sound of Walvisnest.

Walvisnest is de nieuwe muziek en klankontwerp studio in Rotterdam, opgericht door Jornt Jan Bras en Ard Janssen. Op vrijdag 12 oktober vindt de officiële lancering plaats tijdens een expositie waarin de relatie tussen beeld en geluid centraal staat. Het getoonde werk bestaat uit producties voor films, musea en advertisement. Ook worden nieuw ontwikkelde installaties getoond waaronder een multi-speaker soundscape waarbij je als bezoeker wordt ondergedompeld in een bad van klanken.
