[Nettime-bold] View from China - "Oops! - sorry, OUR MAPS MUST BE OUT OF DATE"

Actually, truck-bombs showed to be more effective, yet far less costly, than cruise missiles in attacking embassies, as the cases of US embassies in Kenya and Tanzania showed in comparison with the case of Chinese embassy in Serbia. The "problem" with cruise missiles is that they were originally designed to carry a small nuclear bomb (in which case they would indeed be as destructive as a Boeing 767 with a full tank of fuel if not more). Conventional warhead significantly reduces the bang-for-the-buck effect. Things to watch for: joint development of a large stealth cruise missile carrying a "vacuum" bomb by Lockhed-Martin and Raytheon.

How many people were killed at the Chinese embassy? Considerbly short of
7,000 if memory serves...

Still waiting for an explanation of the Islamic dimension to the wars in
Rwanda, Congo and Colombia, BTW. The silence is defeaning, Predrag.
