Loiez

Dear Francis,

I'm afraid we have to pospone this lunch... Based on our current agreement
with Accenture (Off The Record, please), we need to expand quickly in UK and
I don't have the right people there.
I have to fly to Heathrow tomorrow or on Friday.

Let's meet at the office when I'm back, I'll show you how we run the place
from here. We've got talents here that blew me off again recently...

Best regards Francis and again, truly sorry not to be able to make it,

Great,
Can we do this tomorrow (I live in Berkeley) at 11:30. I love the Flore in
Paris, and I'm sure I'll love this one too.
Is Philippe Langlois around too? He lives in one of the most beautiful
places in the city.
Best

Bonjour Francis,

Thanks a lot for switching to [en] :)
This will help for sure.
I'm quite in a hurry (we are being now attacked both on our phone lines and
on our hosting provider).
I made my due diligence: I know that you are a serious french journalist
now, and given your location, why don't we meet for lunch?

Best regards,
Axel.

PS: I'm not too happy about Divis., why don't we meet up at Cafe Flore, on
Noe and Market, one of my favorite place. Plus you'll be at home ;-)

Bonjour Axel,
Thanks for your prompt answer. I can switch to English, but you will be
the one who will have to excuse my writing.
To be honest with you, I don't believe in Bolkenstein-Inc as a business.
I see a fabulous practical joke by the same people who wrote the
beautiful XLRMX manifesto. One of the things that strike me is that it
is signed by you in French, while it is not signed in English (and most
of the participants have very French sounding names).
If you want to convince me you have a real business (I admit it's
totally
possible) you might want to consider a phone conversation (in English
or French, broken or fluent) and some questions would be around your

clients.

This can be off the record as any serious journalist is used to do when
dealing with states secrets or business projects.
I would like to know more about XLRMX and why they "banned" you?
In any event, both ventures look interesting and promising to me, more
so the people who launched them.
Best

PS - I love Divisadero.

Bonjour Francis,

a+?
