<nettime> discussing zoom fatigue




Hi Geert,
You ask if there is something wrong with the user interface. Yes. I usually stand and move around when lecturing, sometimes making large gestures. Just sitting at a desk or wherever is sure to be fatiguing. Doing this in a non-fatiguing way will require fundamentally re-thinking the system of camera, mic and screen with respect to participants.

Another issue is the whole question of unequal connections, if any, for some students.
