Renga ­ una colaboración de 11 artistas

Basada en la antigua forma de verso japonesa del mismo nombre, que se
traduce como ³verso ligado², Renga involucró a once artistas, cinco
británicos, cinco norteamericanos y uno mexicano, tomando cada uno su turno
para continuar una pieza de trabajo en un periodo de dos meses. Se les pidió
a los artistas que simplemente respondieran honestamente a la pieza hasta el
punto en que se encontraba. No hubo ningún requerimiento estilístico
impuesto. Todas las contribuciones tuvieron que incluir una liga hacia el
siguiente trabajo para que, finalmente, formaran un círculo, forma  en que
se encuentran ahora, siendo posible comenzar en cualquier parte de la
secuencia.

"Renga - a collaboration by 11 artists"
based on the ancient Japanese verse form of the
same name wich translates as "linked verse",
"Renga" involved 11 artists, 5 British, 5 US and
one from Mexico, taking turns to continue
a piece of work over a 2 month period.
Artists were encouraged simply to respond honestly
to the work so far and no requirement
of stylistic unity was placed upon them.
All contributions had to include a forward link
and the pieces are now linked in a circle.
It is possible to start anywhere in the sequence.
