The change of the millenium will be a great mass-media spectacle. Never
before in human history has an event been so anticipated and celebrated on
such a simultaneous, worldwide basis.

The idea of TV 2000 is to collect as many TV recordings as possible around
the globe of the turn of the millenium and to assemble them into a video
containing excerpts of at least the last and first 15 seconds, creating an
ultimate countdown-spectacle compilation.

TV 2000 is a non-commercial project. We hope you will participate in this
historic work! All you have to do is to record 30 minutes or an hour of
the millenium-change of one of your local or national TV channels.

It's simple as this: take a VHS-tape, program your VCR for the time from
23.30 December 31, to 00.30 January 1, and send it with your return
address (by March 1, 2000) to:

B J O E R N M E L H U S
L I E B I G S T R . 3 2 A
3 0 1 6 3 H A N N O V E R
G E R M A N Y

All participants will receive a VHS-copy of this millenial extravaganza!!!

PLEASE SEND YOUR TV RECORDING AND MAKE THIS UNIQUE DOCUMENT POSSIBLE !
