'Enter Beijing' ist der Versuch, sich der Stadt Peking mit künstlerischen
Methoden zu nähern und einen intensiveren Zugang zu diesem 'Planeten' zu
erarbeiten. 'San Lun Che' ist die Mandarin-Bezeichnung für ein typisch
chinesisches dreirädriges Transport-Fahrrad, mit dem Rainer Prohaska durch
das Stadtgebiet von Peking reist. Während der Reise wird das Fahrzeug
erweitert und vergrößert; es absorbiert Materialien und Gegenstände, die
unterwegs entdeckt werden. Das Fahrrad mutiert so zu einer Collage und zu
einem Medium, das Kommunikationen und Situationen beeinflusst.

'Enter Beijing' is an experiment to approximate the city Beijing by using
artistic methods and to get a more intense approach to this 'planet'. 'San
Lun Che' is the name for typical Chinese three-wheel-cargo-bikes, which
Rainer Prohaska uses for his trip across the area of Beijing. During this
journey, the vehicle expands, gets larger and absorbs materials and
objects which are discovered during transit. The bike mutates into a
collage and into a media, which alters communications and situations.
