well, we're not looking (yet) at critiquing and bug-fixing. as for ideas
and other less well-defined forms of interaction, one can say the same
of _real-world_ "cathedralesque" development teams, e.g. at microsoft,
who certainly have a lot of useful interaction with other developers
outside.
for our purposes we focus on a stricter definition of contribution that does
not include ideas and inspiration as much as contribution in the form of
writing code.
