Hello,

I am writing to see if you may be interested in helping with this project,.

I am thinking of starting a blog journal around writings on the following
topic/s " indigenous struggle, recompostion and class-recomposition -
autonomy "

I am an anarchist interested in the 'new' indigenous struggles and coming
from a heavy influence of class-compostion analysis or ' autonomism.'

Indigenous people seem to be on the forefront of many struggles today and
have a rich history of anti-capitalist and autonomous struggle to draw upon.
Indigenous people are also migrants, exploited labours, 'surplus humanity'
ie. unemployed, precariously or irregularly employed, slave labour etc. How
can these subjectivies talk. Welfare attacks or other social policy often
hits the indigenous first and often hardest.

Prelimanary idea is a blog calling for essays on this topic.

Below is a workerist interpretation of 'recomposition' that may given an
idea. I am open to amending and discussing such proposals. How else might
such a project be expanded, or what could be added ?
Do you want to help ?

ps. can anyone put me in email contact with the people doing panel at
artavistic on precarity ? http://precarityto.wordpress.com

Recomposition" is a concept which tries to relate changing working and
living conditions and the forms and impacts of class struggle. Instead of
applying an abstract, philosophical or monolithic concept of "working
class", the notion of "class composition" emphasises that due to its inner
contradictions, namely the struggle of the exploited, capitalism has to
change and "recompose" the conditions of exploitation continuously (new
technologies, company closures, new work organisation, migration etc.). This
creates new divisions and new common reference points within the
proletariat. Only in their struggles, which have to relate to the
"recomposed" conditions, can workers overcome these particular divisions,
find new forms of organisation and re-appropriation and "recompose"
themselves as a new movement.
