Just to correct the record, independent researchers and everyone else are
welcome to access university databases from the public terminals in the
libraries of at least public universities in the US.  There may be a few
things that are still password restricted, but if you are on a library
public terminals essentially everything there is accessible.  Overstating
the critique inaccurately doesn't strengthen the critique.
