GOOD NEWS

hi,

we received good news. Abdallah Fathelrahman has not been deported yet. A
Bavarian high court, not really known for their liberality and sensibility
in such cases, decided to allow a new trial and stopped the deportation
until a final decision is made. Thanks a lot to all of you who sent faxes
and protest notes and helped to stop this deportation! 

The court orderred a new medical examination of Abdallah Fathelrahman and
we got to know, that his deportation will not be enforced by a special
machine, but a Lufthansa flight (flights start friday, saturday and
tuesday, and there are already thoughts about local and webwide activities
if this should come true). 

It is not clear yet if Abdallah Fathelrahman comes out of prison on June
30th. Last time the arrestation was prolonged with the explicit remark,
that it will be the last prolongation, since he is arrested already since
more than eight months. We will see and we will inform you about any news.

Vielleicht haben es einige von Euch auch so schon erfahren, für alle
anderen die gute Neuigkeit: Abdallah Fathelrahman ist nicht abgeschoben
worden. Der Bayerische VGH, nicht gerade für besondere Sensibilität oder
Liberalität bekannt, hat die Beschwerde gegen den Beschluß des VG
Ansbach zugelassen und bis zur endgültigen Entscheidung über die
Beschwerde die Abschiebung untersagt. Herr Fathelrahman soll nun
nochmals untersucht werden.

Bekannt wurde ferner, daß Abdallah Fathelrahman doch nicht mit
Sondermaschine und Bayerischer Polizei abgeschoben werden soll, sondern
mit der Lufthansa, die Flüge starten Freitag, Samstag und Dienstag.
Abzuwarten bleibt noch, ob Herr Fathelrahman am 30.Juni aus der
Abschiebehaft entlassen wird.

Wir werden berichten, sobald es etwas neues gibt. Vielen Dank
einstweilen an alle, die geholfen haben, diese Abschiebung zu
verhindern.
