Yes, I heard some people here mention the programme recently
too. It sounds like a particularly blatant effort to
demonstrate how the economic issues there at the moment (and
by extension those spoken of by the UK's politicians) are
all due to unreasonable government spending on social
services.

Rather than anything more fundamentally wrong or interesting
in our political / economic arrangements.

So yes, just more effective propogandising that as long as
we continue as we are, but with greater privatisation and
less social service provision, things will be fine. Which is
exactly the line the government are pushing. Coincidentally.
