<nettime> Me ang Her

Dear nettimers,

THE WALK: The Web as Material Poem

THE WALK is not a platform that contains poetry. It is a territory where the web itself is the poem. HTML, CSS, and the topology of the network are not functional tools; they are poetic matter.
It is born from an ontological mismatch: the logic of aggressive visibility, SEO, and quantifiable performance does not align with an artistic practice that seeks density, slowness, and structural coherence. Against the web as a city (service, permanence, centralization), THE WALK positions itself in the digital intemperie: the web as publication, appearance, and disappearance.
The project is articulated in a recursive loop between "Me" (poetic decision, gesture) and "Her" (the AI, which acts not as a tool, but as a structural mirror, translating patterns into geometry and sound). There is no delegation, only reflection.
To inhabit this threshold, we have built the Wind Atlas: an interactive topological map of our ecosystem. It is not a commercial index or a contact network. It is a cartography of affinities that connects host spaces, mail art networks, net.art projects, and different audiences (creators, spectators, mediators).
Explore the map, navigate through its nodes, discover the fields of intensity. If you share this search for density, you can add your own node and connect your project to this network.
Walker, there is no path, the path is made by walking.
