<nettime> Shell HQ occupation live on Internet

Occupation of Shell HQ live on the Internet from palmtop-computer

I don't know if you heard about the Shell action in London on Monday -
activists occupied the Shell HQ (both the outgoing and incoming directors
offices) and uploaded a site to the web from inside
(http://www.kemptown.org/shell). There seems to be quite a bit of interest
in this - from the shell angle (supporting the demands of the Ijaw people),
the internet/technology angle (1st time a site has been updated from inside
an action using just a palm-top computer and mobile phone, both running on
batteries), and the censorship angle (shell want to serve an injunction on
the site).
