European Media Artists in Residence ExchangeDas European Media Art Network vergibt EMARE- Stipendium für Europäische Medienkünstler in Deutschland, Großbritanien. Frankreich und den Niederlanden
Der 17. European Media Artists in Residence Exchange wird von Frühling bis Herbst 2011 stattfinden.
In Europa lebende Medienkünstler aus den Bereichen Digitale Medien, Internet und Computerkunst, Film / Video und Sound sind eingeladen, sich für Stipendium zu bewerben. Stipendienplätze werden vergeben von: Foundation for Art and Creative Technology (FACT), Liverpool in England, dem IMPAKT Festival, Rotterdam, Niederlande, dem Bandit Mages Festival, Bourges, Frankreich und Werkleitz -- Zentrum für Medienkunst Sachsen-Anhalt, Halle (Saale), Deutschland.
Studenten sind zur Teilnahme am Hauptprogramm EMARE nicht berechtigt, aber bei EMARE REGIO.*
*Zusätzlich zu dem regulären EMARE Programm wird jeweils ein EMARE Regio Stipendium für Sachsen-Anhaltinische Künstler nach Bourges, sowie für französische Künstler aus der Region Centre im Rahmen einer Regionalpartnerschaft vergeben. Es gelten die im Bewerbungsformular genannten Konditionen und Bedingungen. Zu EMARE Regio sind auch Studierende zugelassen. EMARE Regio wird von der Region Centre und dem Land Sachsen-Anhalt gefördert
Das EMARE Stipendium beinhaltet bis zu 2.000 €, freie Unterkunft, bis zu 250 € Reisekostenzuschuß, freien Zugang zur vorhandenen Technik und eine professionelle Präsentation.
Bewerbungen sollten beinhalten: das Formblatt (pdf auf der website: www.emare.eu ), eine CV, visuelle Dokumentationen bisheriger Arbeiten (keine Originale) und einen Projektvorschlag.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- European Media Art Network presents European Media Artists in Residence Exchange 2011The European Media Art Network provides residencies in England, Germany, France and the Netherlands for European artists
With support of the City of Utrecht, the Arts Council of England and the regional municipalities of Saxony-Anhalt in Germany and Centre in France, the European Media Art Network will host up to six European Media Artists in Residence Exchanges within 2011.
Europe based Media Artists in the fields of digital media including internet and computer based art, filmmakers, sound and video artists are invited to apply for a two months artist residency at IMPAKT, Utrecht, Netherlands; Bandit Mages, Bourges, France; FACT, Liverpool, United Kingdom or at Werkleitz Centre for Media Arts in Halle, Germany. Students are not permitted, but young artists encouraged.*
*Additional there is for the second time with support of the regions Centre, France and Saxony-Anhalt, Germany the opportunity for artists from these regions (and only from these regions) to apply for an EMARE Regio at Werkleitz Media Art Center in Halle, Germany or Bandit-Mages in Bourges, France.
For EMARE Regio also students are permitted!EMARE includes a grant of up to 2.000 Euro, free accommodation, up to 250 Euro travel expenses, access to the technical facilities and media labs and a professional presentation.
Entries should include the application form (downloadable from the website), a CV, (audio) visual reference projects documentation (no originals) and a proposal sketch for the project which should be developed within EMARE.
